  • Big Latch On 2015 Breaks Record!

    World Breastfeeding Week 2015 - August 1st-7th Wow, what a turnout!  This year a record breaking 14,889 children were counted breastfeeding for the one minute, worldwide Big Latch On at 10:30am on July 31st and August 1st!  An incredible 654 locations were registered across 28 countries.  Go mamas! The Big Latch On is a global event organized each year to bring awareness and support to breastfeeding families and to kick of World Breastfeeding Week.     June 27th 2015 International Day to Normalize Breastfeeding A very exciting and important declaration by the mayor of San Diego will be made on June 27th.  Thanks to the hard work of Vanessa Simmons, a photographer and founder of NormalizeBreastfeeding.Org, it is hopeful that many other cities will follow suit and declare this day the International Day to Normalize Breastfeeding.  This day is a proclamation of support and awareness to breastfeeding mothers everywhere.
