Instead of a Monday Breastfeeding Quote, today I’m sharing a beautiful video. Created by Holistic Moms Network (www.holisticmoms.org)
It is called Nursing Our Future. I just love it! It empowers and inspires me.
Where have you breastfed lately?

Where have you breastfed lately?
I came across this video on YouTube and I just love it! Developed as a student project for The Breastfeeding Course for Health Care Providers, it was inspired by Reflections of Motherhood (another beautiful video).
As a soon to be breastfeeding mother (my first baby is due in Feb), I am taking in all the wisdom!
What would you go back and tell yourself? I’d love to hear your wisdom too.
I posted this on the Momzelle Facebook page last week, and it was “liked” by many. So beautiful!
First of all, I want to thank you all for your amazing support. I have received an overwhelming response after my apparition on the Dragons’ Den show on CBC Wednesday March 3rd 2010 and this has proven to be extremely positive and encouraging. I am really glad that they chose to present both breastfeeding and the Momzelle nursing tops in a positive light.
Erin, the mom who was breastfeeding on TV, in front of millions, did an amazing job, and so did her very cute baby (now almost a year old, can you believe it?).
I am super proud and I want to say that all this would not have been possible without the help and love of my brother and business partner Vincent Poirier, who has encouraged, supported and worked with me since the very beginning of Momzelle.
Nothing makes me happier than knowing that our nursing clothing business inspires and empowers other women.
On Monday, March 8th, the National Post will publish an article following-up on the deal I made with Brett Wilson. A photographer came to the office yesterday and took a few pictures. I was so busy when he arrived that I did not even take the time to look at myself in the mirror! I wonder what the picture will look like… Natural, that’s for sure!
NOTE: the article was published, here is a link to it.
Also, here is a little article that I wrote for the Yummy Mummy Club, describing how I felt a few days before the airing of the episode.
I love this video (and the fact that it is the dads who are speaking about breastfeeding) ! Out of all the great things there are in this video, I like that the moms are nursing older babies in public, without hiding. Breastfeeding is completely natural, like the way it should be. When will we get positive campaigns like that in the U.S. and Canada ?
This video used to be on the previous version of Momzelle’s website and I am really sad it is not there anymore. It is such an amazing and nice video promoting breastfeeding, I thought I’d share it with you here. Enjoy !
