I was asked today why we chose, at Momzelle breastfeeding apparel, to manufacture our clothing in North America, in a fairtrade certified factory. We chose to do so because we believe in a better world, where workers do not work 14 hours a day, are not paid unfair wages and in a world where kids do not have to go to work in the morning. We believe in good working conditions, in fair wages, not in child labor. We want to be able to really “know” what’s going on in our factories, unlike some other big manufacturers. After reading about the poor workers’ conditions in China, Bangladesh, Pakistan and other countries, we decided to make a decision that would contribute to a better world for our children. Momzelle’s shirts are not sewn by children in thirld-world countries and are sweat-shop free. Guaranteed.
